WHAT WE DO

Located in the province of Salta, in Argentina, for more than 17 years, we have focused on receiving travelers from all around the world, developing trips through Northwest Argentina combined with other nearby regions and border countries, such as Bolivia, Chile and Peru.

We specialize in designing programs based on in-depth exploration and discovery of nature, providing a personalized experience and the chance to live a genuine and unique adventure, always prioritizing sustainability, caring for the environment and local cultures.

HOW WE WORK

We design adventure expeditions in fascinating and remote areas

We organize outdoor activities and high quality luxury services, generating authentic experiences aimed to explore and discover in depth each visited place.

We are inspired by dreamers, those who look for new challenges, that desire in every trip to discover and connect with nature and culture. Our compromise is to respect the natural environment and local communities, promote a genuine and deep cultural exchange, sharing traditions and customs, and contributing to make each trip special and memorable.

OUR TEAM

Pancho

Francisco Siciliano is the founder of Argentina Trails, with more than 17 years of experience in Adventure Tourism in Argentina and the region. He is passionate about adventure sports, mountains and trips. He is a tireless worker, very restless and curious, constantly looking for new experiences. His motivation to be an entrepreneur led him to create Argentina Trails.

Ulises

Uli Kusnezov shares our passion for the mountains and is one of the most experienced guides in Argentina. During his career, he became the fastest and youngest mountaineer to ascend the 10 highest volcanoes in the word, being the first Argentinian to accomplish so. With him, we share laughs and good times, while he takes care of providing us with security and safety in each expedition.

Dardo

Born in Salta, he is like a brother to us. With many years of experience as a tour guide in Argentina Trails, Dardo is responsible for calculating and assembling the logistics of our expeditions. He is our chef and camper as well. He works hard for his personal development. He is unconditional and detached from material things. He is a very warm and empathetic person who transmits joy and has a special gift for relating to people.

Aarón

Aarón is the youngest of our team, he is attentive and curious. He is studying Tourism, he loves to explore nature, he strives daily for his professional and personal growth. He is the Reservations Manager at Argentina Trails.

OUR COLLABORATORS

Pascuala

They are the soul of the Trekking to the Clouds experience. They receive you with joy, and make you a snack or dinner. They await you with the fire lit, the mate, and yuyitos from the field. They are lonely and strong women, who work in the countryside like nobody else.

Ricardo y José

They are from Quijano and Incamayo, respectively. They are simple and strong people, gauchos. They are the muleteers responsible for the transfer of the load and the management of the logistics in our trekkings. They carry merchandise, food, equipment and people’s clothing. And among other things, they make the barbecue that we enjoy in the camps. They are vital to our activity. They have animals and give us security as they know the place very well. For that, they are also a link with the people of the area.

Severo

They are a married couple from Antofalla who have welcomed us as a part of their family for years and offer us accommodation with open arms. With them, we share launches on our journeys through the Puna, which are homemade and with a lot of love.

Marta

Marta and Severo are a married couple from Antofalla who have welcomed us as a part of their family for years and offer us accommodation with open arms. With them, we share launches on our journeys through the Puna, which are homemade and with a lot of love.

PUNA VISION FOUNDATION - CSR

It is our responsibility as a company to contribute to the environment we operate in, and the society we are part of. That is why, together with the “Puna Vision Foundation” and the “Swiss Sherpa Foundation” we developed an educational plan aimed at training young people to be tour guides; and we set up the first tourist camp in the Argentine Puna.

Its strategic location at the base of the Llullaillaco Volcano, in the province of Salta, is ideal for all those adventurous tourists who want to live a unique experience in a special place, directly benefiting local communities.
